I would already have these heels if it weren’t for the fact that 1) I could never walk in them and 2) I have no where to wear them! (Also another hard pill to swallow- the $1,295 price tag!) I find them so fun and trendy. They truly do remind me of the shoes my Bratz dolls have…minus the fact that you actually put feet in them while the Bratz dolls did not have feet! What truly makes these shoes unique is the double platform on the front coupled with the ankle strap. And to make them a little more Versace the top ankle strap is rhinestoned and features a dangly, gold medusa head. Below are the 4 best dupes for the Versace Medusa Heel!
1- The Just Missing The Details Dupe
Charlize Black Satin Heel– $139.95
This heel from Steve Madden has all the vibes that the Versace Medusa heel has but is missing the details. The double platform is very present and looks almost identical to the Versace version. Where these shoes differ is on the ankle strap. The Versace version has rhinestones and a dangly medusa head charm. The Charlize has neither of these details. The Charlize also comes in 5 different colors.
2- The More Delicate Dupe
ASOS DESIGN Priority platform high heeled shoes in black– $60.00
This heel from ASOS DESIGN is a little more understated than its big sister the Versace Medusa heel. It does not have the double platform and does not have the design details on the ankle strap. What it does have is a bit more elegance and it looks easier to walk in! The heel is only available in black.
3- The Strappier Dupe
MOONCHILD LIME GREEN SATIN CLOSED TOE STATEMENT PLATFORM BLOCK HEELS– $52.99
These heels from Public Desire have the same vibes as the Versace Medusa heels. They have the high heel and the double platform. What they are missing is the same ankle strap and back heel support as the Versace version. These thinner straps make the shoes look a little lighter in my opinion but might not be enough support depending on the weight of the double platform. The Moonchild heels come in 3 different colors- I really like the pink!
Dion Mint Blue Patent Platform Ankle Strap Pumps– $69
These heels from Madden girl are also a slightly more paired down version of the original Versace Medusa heels. They do not have the double platform but their single platform is still chunky enough to give off the Versace vibes. These are also a little bolder than the ASOS DESIGN pair as they are patent leather. Also I really do like the color of these.
