Sadly its another one bites the dust for Matches(f/k/a Matches Fashion) (and if you missed it Farfetch and Net-A-Porter are struggling as well). But, if your a savvy shopper, this can be a good time for you to score a deal on some great pieces! You need to make sure that you use the “OFFER30” for 30% off! (I originally bought my items at 25% off so the deal has gotten better but the longer the sale goes on the more things sell out.)
Also, since they are going out of business, you do have to pay for shipping and a restocking fee of $20 for returns.
1- Dragon Diffusion Bags
If you haven’t seen my post about best woven leather bag Dragon Diffusion was my number one pick for best woven leather bag. I now have 4 different styles- the Triple Jump Large, the Triple Jump Small, the Nantucket and the Egola (the one in the picture above; $372 with 30% off= $260.40). And all of them added together were about the cost of one raffia tote (thanks to sales like this one!). Move quickly if you see a piece you like because the whole collection is almost sold out.
2- Toteme Clothing
Toteme is a french brand that I love but their pieces get very pricey (if you think Sezane is pricey this brand blows them out of the water). Their quality is spot on though and the styles are very Parisian classic. Because of the price point I would recommend a coat or sweater. The coat pictured above is their most famous piece (that you have probably seen a lot of dupes for) and you could get it for 30% off .
3- Zimmerman Dresses
A floral dress is always in style for spring and summer so investing in a Zimmerman dress for your wardrobe makes sense. Their dresses are timeless and well made. I would say if you have the ability to go try on Zimmerman in store I would. They have their own unique sizing and since Matches is going out of business returns are not free. (And if you are not into florals, I really love this blue dress in both the midi version and the mini version.)
4- Isabel Marant Boots
Cowboy boots are a mainstay for the Isabel Marant brand. These black boots make the cowboy style a little less pronounced but if you are in the market for true cowboy boots these are fun. I personally am into this all suede version.
